Once your design is set, you'll need to decide on the type of custom apparel you want to have done. You can either screen print the shirts (the most popular choice), heat transfer, direct to garment print, or print with special effects like "distressed" printing. This is the "washed out" type of look you get that is presently very popular on custom t shirt printing.

You'll want to be careful with fonts. What looks good in print, or on a website, might not look so good on the front of a T shirt. Perhaps you'll want to make the size of your text bigger, or easier to read, or less intrusive. Why not try several ideas and see which works best?

Abstract: An abstract design is a collection of shapes or lines that do not represent anything physical. Not an easy task to combine different elements to create something alluring.

A good t-shirt design must be immediately recognisable from a distance. Think about some retro t-shirts and consider why they are so popular. It is usually down to their simplicity or maybe their pop-culture references which echo in the heart of everyone that sees it. Think about your target audience and what they would like to say about themselves through your t-shirt. A band t-shirt for example must keep in touch with the style of music and give the wearer something about the band to shout about. Album covers or band logos are good options.

You'll want to establish why you're creating a limited edition T-shirt, so that you can make sure that you give it the attention and consideration it needs. You don't want to submit something that's half finished, or rushed.

To start with you have to get creative. Open up a new image in your desktop publishing program sized 305mm x 305mm or 2100 x 2100 pixels and 100 resolution. It is quite a big space and will fit on the centre front of the T-shirt.

However, the problem's not only about how to remove the stain as quickly as possible. You also need to be able to remove it safely. There's no use getting rid of the stain if you'll damage the t-shirt in the process.
