Yes now you can simply design your own T shirt at the comfort of your home. Making a custom t shirt is very simple. One needs to select the design he wants and then he needs to order a local printer to print the design. There are several websites these days that provide the designs of custom t shirts. A person can choose the designs from any of these.

First of all, you need to buy a plain t-shirt for yourself. This can be purchased at a highly reasonable price from anywhere that you regularly buy your shirts from. However, these shirts should be either in plain white color or in a solid color which you want to keep as a base for your designed shirt. Before you make your purchase, do read the instructions at the tag of the shirt. Your shirt should be color-friendly, which means that it should be able to provide a good base for the fabric paints that you will use.

Some of the newer companies now use digital printing for custom t-shirts. To do this, thy use a transfer paper with the design and it is pressed on to the t-shirt to transfer the design with the use of a pressing machine. Since there are many colors around, the shirts also have different requirements. For example, there are white shirts and those with lighter fabrics while there are also darker fabrics. These two types of fabrics should be printed on differently.

If you work with a lot of colors, shading, or gradients. Photoshop is probably best for you. It doesn't have an auto-trace feature but it does have tons of other great tools at your disposal. I would suggest using YouTube and searching for tutorials, there are hundreds of them and they are honestly one of the easiest ways to learn the ropes.

When there are two sides to a debate there is almost always a compromise. The same is true with cotton and polyester, a 50/50 blend of the two was soon invented to appease both sides of the debate. These 50/50 blends have a lot of advantages and very few disadvantages. They bring the best of both worlds to one t-shirt. They have the comfort and breathability of cotton with the durability of polyester. They aren't going to shrink as much and they aren't going to wrinkle as much. Of course, a 50/50 blend isn't going to be as comfortable as a 100% cotton shirt but it also isn't going to be as hot as a 100% polyester shirt. That's why its called a compromise.

If you have a slogan or USP (unique selling proposition), would it be appropriate for the custom apparel? This is an extremely subjective question that only you can answer. For instance, for a cleaning company or moving company, it would be very appropriate. But for more of a conservative real estate company, the logo might be enough. Then again, a real estate company might want to stand out with a bold statement, so it really depends on the direction you want to take with your advertising and promotion on custom T shirt printing.

There are two common ways in which T-shirt printing can be done - screen printing and digital printing. For screen printing the original design is firstly transferred onto a screen. The ink is then applied to the T-shirt through the screen. This technique is mostly preferred for bulk orders as it makes it is a very cost effective method of printing.
