How to reset your TP-Link WiFi router?

There is nothing to stress about! In this article, we’ll tell you how to reset a router by following very simple steps. But before that, there are few things to note::
Your device will set to factory default settings if you proceed for Hard Reset. You should reconfigure the device or you can load the configuration file in case you have to back up the device before the reset.
Few models are having WPS/RESET buttons on the rear panel or at the Front Panel. In order to use the WPS function, you need to push the button for approx 4-5seconds until the WPS LED will flash; and now to reset the router, you need to push the button for at least 10 seconds.

Method 1 :Hard reset/By pushing the RESET button by using a paper clip

Method 2 :By Router's Web Interface

For 11G wireless router like the TL-WR340G, follow the below steps:
Step1: Login the router and into the AP as well.
Step2: Please go to Wireless ->Wireless Settings page. You will see "Enable Wireless Security" in the middle of the page. If it is not yet checked, please click to enable wireless security.
Step3: Reboot the router once you’re done changing the password.
Wireless G AP
For wireless G AP like TL-WA501G, following are the steps:
Step1: Login to the AP.
Step 2: Go to Wireless ->Security Settings page to check your security type.
If it is WEP, Key 1 is the password normally.
If it is WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK, your password must be PSK Password.
Once you have changed the password, please click the Save button.

Product Type 2: Wireless ADSL Modem Router
If you are having Trendchip modem like TD-W8901G/TD-W8951ND/TD-W8961ND, please see below the below steps:
Step1: Login to the modem.

Part 1: Be a detective and check your computer settings:
For Windows OS computer:

Step 2: Press the Windows key plus R key on the keyboard at the same time to open the Run application, type cmd, and click OK. Next, You need to type ipconfig –all in the coming windows and press Enter.
Note: If the IP is 169.254.xxx.xxx, please type in ipconfig –renew it to get an IP address again.
For macOS computer:
Step 1: You need to check whether the Wi-Fi connection of your mac is under Using DHCP to obtain an IP address and there is no manually configured DNS server.
