In building 10x12 sheds you're faced with several cost structures to choose from. This is where most wood sheds start to fail. For a basic, four wall building, two of the walls should be the whole length of your building. Typically a large building will have six inch by six inch pressure treated timbers for the base. Good woodworking plans will guide you through the complete project, starting with a complete list of materials and tools that you will need right down to the type of wood you should use.

Building a shed from a shed kit gives a person some creative liberty and the satisfaction that a self-accomplished job provides. Once the ramp stringers are cut out you are ready to screw them to the ledger board that will hold the stringers to the wall of the shed.
