There is definitely a sense that the Psych episodes are getting a little bit darker. That's why I got a bit nostalgic about this show's beginnings. But nevertheless, it has become the better for it. I think it must have something to do with James Roday, he co wrote and directed the last episodes. This trend has been going on since the Love Letter to Friday the 13th psych episode.

Watch Episode As the show progressed, you find out that there was a new technology being developed by the U.S. Department of Defense in an attempt to disarm their opponents on the battlefield. The knowledge was centered around inert air populated nano-machines that have the capabilities of canceling out the electricity.

Roger seems poised to engage Pete in a no-holds-barred battle for account supremacy, a fight that should be as fun to watch as Lane's thrashing of Pete.

In the only blissful relationship, Dorota and Vanya are getting married before her parents come to town. Seeing an opportunity to tug at Blair's heart, Chuck volunteers to pay for their traditional Polish wedding. If that wasn't enough, he also jumps at Dorota's request that he and Blair be the happy couple that walks her down the aisle.

This 9 season, 202 episode series is definitely a lot to chew. And not every episode is a part of the greater "mythology" but if you're someone that really likes sci-fi then The X-Files is certainly worth checking out. Fox Mulder and Dana Scully are really awesome characters who are a lot of fun to watch even in the not so great episodes of the show.
