Hilarious Comedy Shows On The Telly

Roger seems poised to engage Pete in a no-holds-barred battle for account supremacy, a fight that should be as fun to watch as Lane's thrashing of Pete.

Tensions surface between Ryan and Twilley while DeAhnna is have some alone time with Richard. Seems Ryan thinks Twilley is on the show to put on a show, not to win DeAhnna's heart. For a man who's as overtly Christian as Ryan is, he sure does scowl and judge others a lot.

Next morning DeAhnna and her 2nd group date arrive at Dodger Stadium and are greeted by Dodger coach and baseball legend Tommy Lasorda. They start with the guys taking turns trying to sing the national anthem. Har-har. Then they do a 10-pitch each home run derby. By the time they are down to Jeremy and Chris, the final two, only 2 guys have managed to hit 2 homers. Mansion boy Jeremy steps up and smacks 6. Amazing. Former semi-pro baseball player Chris is last up and he wiffs.

Serena tries her hand at a card game to save Carter but comes up short. With Nate as her financial backer, she's devastated at the outcome. She later discovers that she wasn't the only one gambling on someone. Trip is running for congress and Nate is helping with his campaign, against the Buckleys of course. Am I the only Gossip Girl fan that thinks this reeks of personal vendetta?

Watch Episode Don asks if Emile and Marie will be okay for the night, and Megan explains that they do this all the time, that they'll recover in time for the party. Those words reminded me of last week's episode. After Don chases Megan around the apartment, knocking them down into their submerged living room, they recover. A little while later, they show up for work, all smiles and happy faces. Are they destined to become like Emile and Marie?

Billy Ray never let his stiffness hold him back though. He gave it his all every time he performed. An interesting point is that season, all of my children were also rooting Billy Ray on. Granted they were rooting for him because he is the father to their favorite actress but none the less, it again shows the wide range of ages that enjoy the show. After all, any show that can keep the interest of a woman in their mid to late 30s and also her six children must have something worthwhile in it.

Those of you who were lucky enough to be around to watch the series can certainly remember the great soundtrack and background music that was played during a battle. Heck, John Williams (Composer of Jaws) would have been proud.
