The tv series, much more so than the comic books, took on a Fugitive storyline where Dr David Banner (played by Bill Bixby) ran from town to town in search of a cure for his affliction. His alter ego, the Hulk, was played by bodybuilder Lou Ferrigno. The lack of special effects did not hinder the film makers. Instead, to portray a powerful and extraordinary presence among humans, the Hulk scenes, particularly when there were feats of strength involved, were in slow motion. Maybe cheesy now, but it worked very well back then. Additionaly, the Six Million Dollar Man and the Bionic Woman did exactly the same thing for similar scenes.
WatchESPN - you guessed it! What's watching TV on an iPad without the sports channel. The sports channel is offered to Verizon's Internet users. The application was designed for the iPhone but will play quite nicely on the iPad. The quality isn't as high as some of the other TV show distributors but it is watchable. They are one of the few distributors that offer live shows to watch on an iPad.

By rent, we mean people can choose from the thousands of movies available in HD, and through the newest Apple TV, they can watch these movies in the comfort of their home, even on the same day that these movies go out on DVD. That's convenience that only the Apple Television can bring.
Nor is L. J. Smith's writing style a particularly literary one. She can be forgiven for this, perhaps, because she's writing for a young adult audience. The easy-breezy, fashion-mag tone of the book is ill-suited to its dark subject material. It's like Elena mistakenly fell off the cover of Teen Vogue and into a pulp horror novel. For readers with more sophisticated tastes, this will hardly do.
Just like the show the wonder years where Kevin kept audiences updated with the story by letting us listen to what was in his head, the Dexter TV show successfully accomplishes the same thing. Watching a show that is often narrated by the voice of someone's head is a good way to keep audiences captivated. It is especially even more interesting when those voices are the thoughts of a serial killer.
