The heat transfer method or digital custom t-shirt printing is also advantageous because it can transfer images in full color. Since the printers are inkjet or laser printers, you can use a full color design or designs with as many colors as you want. Then the shirts will be printed with exactly the same design, with all the colors captured, including all the gradient levels. While other t-shirt printing methods only allow you to print in solid colors, t-shirt printing through heat transfer allows you to do color blending and be as creative as you can be.
Colours that you use: Make sure that the colours used complement each other. A good way to do this, in case you use Adobe, is to turn on global colours. This will not only ensure a fine picture quality, it will save you a lot of time.
Designs at actual size: It is quite common that the designer and printer's vision of the design do not match up to their expectations. Thus it is advised that the artwork should be made in its actual original size. In such situations, it is advisable to get an estimate of the size by using a long scale and a plain T shirt. Just pick up a long scale and give the printer an estimate of the artwork you plan to have.
